Engineering
Software Engineer — Python, Azure & Microsoft 365
Zürich · On-site · Contract / Fixed-term
About us
Linvo AG is a Zurich-based multi-family office and wealth management firm modernizing its operations with a suite of internal, AI-assisted applications. We're bringing on a senior engineer to take these tools from working prototypes to secure, production-grade systems — and to own the infrastructure and integration layer as we scale.
You'll work on-site with our team, translating internal needs into robust software, and bringing the engineering judgment to build things the right way, not just the fast way.
What you'll own
- Take internal Python applications from prototype to production: containerization, deployment, logging, monitoring, error handling, and reliability
- Design and build integrations across the Microsoft 365 stack via Microsoft Graph — mail, calendar, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams — including Entra ID (Azure AD) app registrations and OAuth2 flows (delegated and application permissions)
- Run and harden our Azure environment: hosting, secrets, storage, identity, cost and reliability
- Move single-user and internal tools to secure, multi-user company-wide deployments (auth, roles, access control)
- Set and maintain a security baseline appropriate to a regulated financial-services firm
What you should bring
- Strong, demonstrable Python experience building and operating production backend services — not just scripts
- Real, hands-on Microsoft Graph / Microsoft 365 integration experience (app registrations, OAuth2, Graph API against mail/calendar/SharePoint/Teams)
- Azure: deploying and running apps (App Service / Container Instances / Functions), Key Vault, Blob Storage, basic networking and identity
- Docker and a sane deployment/CI approach
- Security fundamentals: secrets management, least-privilege access, data protection, auditing
- Ability to own ambiguous problems end to end and work directly with a non-engineering team
Nice to have
- LLM and agent integration experience: Claude API, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft 365 Copilot / Agents, or similar — prompt pipelines, structured output, tool/function calling
- Background in banking, wealth management, family office, or another regulated environment
How we work with AI
We build with AI-assisted tooling and expect you to as well — used well, it makes strong engineers faster. But we're hiring for the engineering, not the tooling. We're looking for seasoned developers who understand what the code actually does, can debug and secure it without the AI, and know when the AI-generated answer is wrong. "AI automation specialist" with no real engineering track record behind it is not this role.
Setup
On-site in our Zurich office, ~3 months to start with potential to extend. Open to freelance/contract or fixed-term employment — whatever suits you.
